my understanding of "fair use"

In good faith, I believe that all of the quotes and other related copyrighted materials on my websites, including but not limited to http://jigawatt.us and http://blog.jigawatt.us, fall under the definition of "fair use" under US copyright law. Although in certain circumstances, I might put forth criticism of said copyrighted materials, I have no intention of malice, injury, or damage to the owners of any works, and will remove my references to them if directed.
